Beliefs
- I believe Art is not merely a form of self-expression -- it is a way for humanity to understand itself.
- I believe Humans are equally corrupt at all levels of power and wealth. The corruption we commonly lament is just because the rich and powerful are able to effect corruption at a greater scale. In other words, corruption/opportunism is merely an almost universal personal trait, not a societally assigned trait.
- I believe Young adults alive today will see a society where people will only have to work if they want to (à la Star Trek).
- I believe People are having more and more discussions with AI chatbots instead of their friends, colleagues, and family.
Questions
- How will people pay the robots (the robot owners) if there are no working people making money to pay them?
- My (relatively layman's) impression and knowledge of the current generation of AI (being mostly Generative AI) makes me think that it won't be able to make the leap to AGI and isn't true AI at all. Why do you think the jump is coming?
- Is that not already very exposed? Are you saying AI will increase that exposure? If so, how?
- Why do you belief production cannot be effectively measured for report workers?
- But can’t science and philosophy also help humanity understand itself?
- What does it mean for art to help humanity “understand itself”?
