Socioculture Statement
Humans are equally corrupt at all levels of power and wealth. The corruption we commonly lament is just because the rich and powerful are able to effect corruption at a greater scale. In other words, corruption/opportunism is merely an almost universal personal trait, not a societally assigned trait.

Have you read Dirtbag Billionair? Yvon Chouinard Built Patagonia, Made a Fortune and Gave it All Away.

I have not, though I have heard (mostly) good things about Yvon and his admirable mission. I should clarify that I certainly believe the are exceptions, but the vast, vast majority of individuals are corrupt/unethical to some degree.

Is it the nature of Capitalism to facilitate if not enhance greed?
Thinker

The system does not have all that much of an affect on the achievements of greed. From my reading (and first hand accounts) communism has bred as much corruption for the purposes of greed as capitalism has.
