I believe that every LGBTQ+ person deserves dignity, free from rejection and harm — regardless of any institution's theology. Documented harm demands decisive response. When institutions cause measurable damage — family expulsion, trauma, homelessness, elevated suicide risk — Canada's legal frameworks must be applied with courage and consistency. Religious freedom is fundamental. It does not include the freedom to harm children. Canada has demonstrated principled action before: conversion therapy is banned; marriage equality is law. These victories came through institutional will, not patience alone. I call on governments, funders, and partners to align their policies with their values. Inaction is a choice — with real human costs. The time for gentle persuasion as sole strategy has passed. I stand with those who have waited long enough. – tyudelson@gmail.comAsk a Question 0
