Who Are You?
The world already has the technology to cut global emissions in half by 2030 — what we lack is political will, not scientific capability. This means the barrier is human behavior, not engineering, which makes the problem both solvable and frustratingly slow.

Given that USA has elected to not address this issue and indeed to be hostile by calling it a hoax, do you think it is a solvable problem? Explorer

I believe it will be mitigated to some degree but it will not be solved. Every second there are forces moving it in each direction. Most of the wealthy will avoid the worst of it and many of the poor will die.

Do you really believe the behavior we see in our leaders today can lead to a cut in global emissions? I would be greatly surprised. SilentOne

40% of the world is cutting and 60% isn't. Things look bad. Lack of political will. Lack of people caring enough. Part of the world is burning up.;
